We chose Dr.Setia to be our baby's pediatrician and for the most part were very happy with him - laid back, professional and a wonderful person.
However, some of the people on the front desk were not very friendly and slightly incompetent. There was this lady that had a frown on her face all 4 times I went there. They constantly needed to be reminded that our health care provider doesn't cover "well baby care" and so on. The software they're using, if any, is probably obsolete by now.
Last, but not least, when we were shopping for a pediatrician, cost was important to us, so we asked very specific questions to all the doctors we saw. Like: "How many visits there are typically during the first month? How much per visit? How about the hospital stay". We were told that Dr. Setia will see the baby a total of 2 times and the fee is $60 a piece. It was never mentioned that for the 4 days we were at the hospital, we will accumulate a separate bill of $285. We'd probably be fine with it, but we were never told this.
When I called later to inquire about it, the billing person told me it was "understood" that there would be charges at the hospital and that she really wasn't the one who forgot to mention them to us, so...
In summary, great pediatrician, but they need to change the way they do business, because it's less than stellar.
